lbc membership directory

We were excited to present to you our first copy of our church membership directory this past members’ meeting! We hope that the directory helps provide another way for us to serve and love one another. These will be updated three times a year, and printed at every other members’ meeting starting in June. Here is some information that may be helpful to you. First, you can find a printed directory in the church office as we will keep a handful of them printed. Second, our directory contains members’ personal information so please be diligent in keeping this information confidential. Lastly, we hope that this directory provides for us up-to-date information so please reach out to Muangkong or the church office with any suggestions, feedback, and/or corrections!

Recommended Resources

We have six recommended resources during the month of April. First, How Can I Love Church Members with Different Politics? by Jonathan Leeman and Andy Naselli. Leeman and Naselli propose that Christians should learn how to disagree on such issues with a spirit of gracious understanding by recognizing the importance of what binds us together as a local church body―the gospel of Jesus Christ. The second is How Can I Get More Out of My Bible Reading? by Jeremy Kimble. In this short booklet, Kimble explains how the church acts as God’s school, helping us read and follow Scripture through teaching, fellowship, and discipleship. The third book is What Is the Church's Mission? by Jonathan Leeman. In this short book, Leeman argues from Scripture that the mission of the church is first and foremost to make disciples―the task that each local assembly is called to do collectively―and to be disciples―the task for each individual Christian. The fourth book is How Can I Serve My Church? by Matthew Emadi. In this short booklet, Emadi explains the vital roles we play within the church. The fifth book is Susannah Spurgeon: The Pastor's Wife Who Didn't Let Sickness Stop Her by Mary K. Mohlor. This book is part of a series designed to show kids that God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. The final book is Ask Pastor John: 750 Bible Answers to Life's Most Important Questions by Tony Reinke. In this unique book, Reinke summarizes and organizes ten years of their most insightful and popular episodes into accessible, thematic sections.
