We have many members and guests who have never experienced a Sunday morning with Liberty Baptist Church with all of our regular ministries in action! Here are a few reminders of how Sunday mornings will look as of September 5th!

Worship Services

Worship services begin promptly at 9am and 10:45am each Sunday. We encourage everyone to arrive several minutes before the service so that you can settle in before the call to worship. As you know, our sanctuary has limited seating! Please consider sitting in the center of a row and towards the front of the sanctuary so that we can make space towards the edges and back of the sanctuary as more people arrive.

In order for our people to have time to fellowship and interact with one another, we build in a 30-minute break between services from 10:15-10:45am. This allows those who attend opposite services to see one another and to do spiritual good toward one another, so please take advantage of this time!

The Lord’s Supper: We celebrate the Lord’s Supper during both worship services every fourth Sunday of the month! As we have practiced during the outdoor services, we will move towards tables at the front of the sanctuary to collect the elements before taking them together.

The Mothers’ Room & Cry Room: A mothers’ room is available outside of the sanctuary where mothers can care for crying or nursing babies. This room should be utilized exclusively by mothers. A cry room is available downstairs in The Book Room where any parent can care for crying children! The service is streamed in both locations so that parents can continue to watch worship.

Overflow Rooms: The Overflow Room will no longer be available in the Fellowship Hall since Equipping Groups will resume in that space. In the event the sanctuary fills up, the service can be streamed from The Book Room or the Liberty Students Room (during the 9am service only).

Equipping Groups

Equipping Groups are available at both 9am and 10:45am, so that you can attend either service and attend an Equipping Group during the opposite service. An overview of Equipping Groups, the current class schedule, class locations, and teachers are always listed on our website at lbcliberty.org/equip.

Liberty Students Equipping Group: One Liberty Students Equipping Group is available in the Liberty Students room during the 10:45am service for students 6th-10th grades. We encourage 11th and 12th grade students to participate in an adult Equipping Group if they feel comfortable attending one!

Liberty Kids

Liberty Kids is provided for children ages 6 months through 5th grade at both 9am and 10:45am. Children can be checked in 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. Generally, the same material will be presented during both hours, so children who would be bored by repeating stories and activities should plan to do one hour in Liberty Kids and one hour with their parents in the worship service! More information about Liberty Kids is available on our website at lbcliberty.org/libertykids.

Parking & the Shuttle

Parking spaces are very limited at our building. We also desire to be hospitable to all of our guests, senior adults, and members with mobility challenges by providing them with adequate parking on our church campus. To ensure that everyone has a place to park, a shuttle is provided each Sunday to and from the parking lot at Manor Hill Elementary School. If you are not serving that Sunday and able to park in the shuttle lot, please do so! The shuttle will run from 8:30-8:55am, 10:15-10:40am, and 12:00pm-12:20pm. Please be on time so that our shuttle driver can participate in worship as well! You are always welcome to drop off your family or friends in the Upper Parking Lot before parking in the shuttle lot.

We are allowed to park in the auto lot just north of our building, but please do so only when necessary. If you do park in that space, be sure to park in such a way that you do not block entrance to the building or parking lot for people or vehicles.

Coffee & Water

Coffee is provided each Sunday morning beginning at 8:40am in both the lobby and in The Book Room. Ice water is available in The Book Room.

The Book Room

The lobby often becomes overly crowded as people move into and out of the sanctuary for worship. The Book Room is a great place to go if you would like to socialize with another member or guest. You can always check out books from the “borrow” section or purchase books from the “buy” section, as well!

Lost & Found

Any items left behind at the conclusion of a Sunday morning will be stored in our Lost & Found, which is located on the bottom shelf in the supply closet immediately next to The Book Room. Items left in Lost & Found for extended periods of time will be donated, so remember to check it if you misplace something!

Inviting Guests

You are encouraged and welcome to bring guests with you anytime! If you bring a family member or friend who lives out of town, be sure to let our Connections Team know so that we can thank them for joining us with a small gift bag. If you have a local friend or family member who plans to join us for worship, encourage them to register online at lbcliberty.org/sunday to plan their visit in advance so that we can gather all the information we need to welcome them well when they arrive!
