We are excited to gather together during our upcoming one-service Sundays on August 21 and 28! These outdoor one-service Sundays provide us with an opportunity to worship and fellowship as one family. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the details below before these worship services, and invite your friends, family, and neighbors to join us!

Time: We will have only one service, and it will begin promptly at 9am each of these Sundays. You may begin arriving anytime after 8am, though we encourage you to arrive no later than 8:50am. It will take several minutes for you to park and settle in for worship, so please plan accordingly!

Livestream: There will be no livestream available for these two weeks, though a recording will be available on Monday morning after each service for those who cannot attend.

Location
: The service will be held on the south lawn behind the Mission House. This area will provide the most shade for everyone throughout the service.

Parking, Shuttle, & Drop-Off
: We will utilize a large portion of the Upper Parking Lot for the service, so parking on the church campus will be more limited than normal.

  • The Upper Parking Lot will be reserved for handicap parking and older members.

  • The Lower Parking Lot will be reserved for guests, older members, and volunteers.

  • All others should plan to park at Manor Hill Elementary School and ride a shuttle to the building.

Seating in the shuttle vehicle will be limited, so those parking in the Manor Hill Elementary School lot are encouraged to drop off family members and gear in the Upper Parking Lot before parking at the school to catch the shuttle.

The shuttle will begin running at 8am and will make its last run at 8:50am, so you must arrive at Manor Hill before 8:50 in order to catch the shuttle! The shuttle will resume once the service ends and will run until 11:00am.

Seating
: Please bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, umbrellas, canopies, or anything else you will need to sit comfortably during the worship service. Arrive early to claim your preferred spot! We will be seated in the grass, so you may find it helpful to bring insect repellent with you.

Worship Guides & Water: Worship Guides with the order of service and song lyrics will be available at a check-in station, so pick one up so that you can sing and follow along throughout the service. Bottled water will also be available at the check-in station throughout the morning. We will not have coffee available these weeks.

Lord’s Supper: We will observe the Lord’s Supper together during the worship service! A few members will prepare the elements, and we will have a gluten-free option available. Those who partake of the Lord’s Supper will approach the table, pick up the elements, return to their seats, and then wait to take the elements together once everyone has received the elements. If you need to remain seated during the Lord’s Supper, we will have members available to bring the elements to you. While we expect this process to take some time, we anticipate it will be meaningful and encouraging to take the Lord’s Supper all together as a church family again!

Following the Service
: At the conclusion of the service, we encourage everyone to stick around and fellowship with members and guests alike! In addition, if you are able, please help tear down briefly at the conclusion of the service so that everyone can enjoy the time of fellowship. Those who are scheduled to participate in the Liberty Kids Training can move on towards the Fellowship Hall for lunch after the service on August 21st. That training will begin promptly at 11:30am.

Weather Plan
: In the event of inclement weather, the church office will communicate an alternate plan for the service by 7am on Sunday morning. The current forecast looks very pleasant, but please pray for good weather so that we can meet as planned!

Questions
: If you have any questions, please contact the church office (816-781-1234)!
