brandon serves Liberty Baptist Church as a Lay Pastor

At some point before college, Brandon was awakened by God to faith and repentance. He heard the gospel and trusted in Jesus Christ. He learned in the gospel that he had been created and owned by God yet was sinful before Him. Brandon knew that heaven and hell were real places where real people would exist forever, but he also knew that Christ lived a perfect life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead. By trusting in Christ, Brandon’s sins were forgiven, and he was granted eternal life with God. Since then, Brandon has sought opportunities to lead in the church and wield whatever skills he has to their present and eternal good.

Brandon joined LBC in July 2016 and became a Lay-Pastor in July 2018. He serves the church by teaching Equipping Group classes, preaching as needed, and shepherding members, particularly by overseeing Community Groups. Brandon’s vision for LBC is that all members would possess in their lives and propagate in all nations a supreme passion for knowing and enjoying God. He prays regularly for LBC that all of her members would be presented “mature in Christ” (Col 1:28) and endure to the end (1 Cor 15; Heb 3).

Outside of his ministry in the church, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, Kaylee. He works at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. In his free time, he enjoys sporting events, good books, and food.
