Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. If you would like to participate in Operation Christmas Child boxes are available in the foyer. Please note the following:

  1. Remember to pray over your box and for the Child that will receive your box.

  2. Place your $9.00 check in your shoe box made out to Samaritans Purse, not to the Church.

  3. Remember you can write one check for several boxes and put it in one box only.

  4. Remember to put a good rubber band around the box. Do not use tape of any kind.

Please return your boxes no later than the 18th. Jan McLeod will be taking them to Pleasant Valley on Monday the 19th, if you are available to help transport boxes, any help would be appreciated.

If you have any questions, please contact Jan McLeod by email (janetkingschild@outlook.com) or by phone (816 699 3681). For suggestions on what to fill the shoebox with click here. For a list of frequently asked questions click here
